I have access to God because Jesus, the all-loving all-compassionate God cared enough about me to die for me. By doing so He paid the price for all the wrongs I would or could do in my life along with the r...est of humanity. He offers salvation for free to all men and is gracious enough to tell us in plan language how to get it; Repent, be baptized and then you can receive the Holy Spirit.

If I might use a very crass analogy, imagine winning the jackpot in Powerball. The fact that you paid for the ticket and have the winning numbers isn't enough; you still have to collect the winnings and in order to do so you have to follow a specific set of instructions. That's pretty ignorant of the gaming commission now isn't it! :0

No one is capable of living a life good enough to get into Heaven. Since God is holy no sin can not exist in His presence; everyone sins, that means no one is able to be "good enough" or live "righteously enough" to make it. That's why Jesus died, so we could have a chance of making it.

It's the best gift anyone could get. Heaven

O
h, more to the point with the analogy, if you win the Powerball jackpot, never collect the money, but choose to try and live like you collected the winnings you'll just end up disappointed and probably.

I say this because some believe by living a good life they are granted with eternal life...but no so ....Christians need to seek the truth for the truth shall set us free, Amen
