It's a wonderful life!
I did not write THIS but I wanted to share it because it is beautiful, thanks to the writer!!
How blessed we are to have a God who cares so much for us. He has gone out of his way to put extra-special things in our lives from day to day to remind us of how fond he is of us. Yes, we are the apple of his eye!
He has given us unconditional love, forgiveness, security, etc. But, once again, I want to remind us of the simple things he has given us. These things also show his love for us. For instance, the tiny butterfly fluttering in the summer breeze, or fluffy birds chirping from their perch on a dogwood tree - simple, yet appealing to our sight. What about the gurgling sounds of rushing water flowing over smooth gray stones in a river....or the sound of giggling children on a merry-go-round - these sounds are delightful to our ears. Oh, touching the face of a loved one or being embraced by a friend...yes, touch is appealing. The taste of a wild honey suckle or a luscious blackberry growing along an old farming fence....taste is another simple thing. Finally, there is the smell of freshly baked chocolate-chip cookies or a favorite perfume which evoke special feelings of someone special in your life.
These are the simplest of things...but God has made it all possible by giving us our senses. It's amazing that he took time to go into such detail for us. He wanted us to enjoy life. Oh, how he loves you and me!!!
Take a moment to use your senses right now, from where you're sitting...focus on these abilities given by our Maker. His love is everywhere and you ARE special.

I live in Oxdrift my passion is the word of God and Bible studies. I love to encourage others to read the Bible and to share their personal testimony. I first started to read my Bible (which was a gift from a friend) back in 1982. After several weeks of reading this precious book I became aware how real the people were and I started to became more and more fascinated about the wonderful living scenes, their personalities and their lives were so real that I couldn't put my Bible down. The more I read the more I felt real freedom in my life, wonderful things unfolded day by day such as healings, miracles and magnificent experiences. First time in my life fear disappear, my kidneys were totally healed, peace and joy flooded my life. In April 15, 2003, after seeking and praying for several weeks I met our precious saviour who baptized me with His presence, fire fall on me it touched the top of my head and ever so gently travel through my body and left at the end of my toes, this was such a phenomenal experience that my life was for ever change. Jesus became my passionate friend who has never fail me, He has always been there for me through all these years. Recently He call me to start "The voice of Truth Minitries" I love to share my passion for the work of God with friends and I am thankful for those who stand with me to make this Ministry a reality.
